How Are These Bags Better Than Plastic?

*They’re Compostable!

*They’re made from Cornstarch, PLA (renewable bio-based plant material) and PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate). Basically, most of the material they’re made from is plant-based, which is great.

*But they’re NOT planet-perfect! The sticky wicket is the PBAT. It’s still partially made from oil, the common denominator of plastic. Not good. But it’s a small amount and as yet - subject to more study - breaks down completely and leaves no toxic residue behind.

WHY SWITCH??

Because -- our planet has a pollution problem! :(.

AND… Small Changes ~ Collectively ~ Make A Meaningful Difference!!!

About 1000 plastic dog bags of difference every year! PER PET!! Compostable bags are the most affordable and workable choice for the environmentally-minded pet parent or human that I’ve found. There is a recycled paper option but it’s not priced for the everyday pet parent yet.

WHERE CAN I BUY THEM? Honestly? Amazon. I don’t like it, but sometimes your options are limited when you live on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Available in several sizes: dog, small trash & tall kitchen trash!! ;)
